IR\u00cdDIA FEST is a human rights and cultural festival<\/strong> born out of the reflection that it is essential to prove that there are collective and empowering alternatives to tackle the radicalisation of hatred, through the generation of community and celebration spaces.<\/span><\/p>\n

The festival is committed to the development and promotion of culture, understood as an essential part of the defence of human rights on a historical level and to claim the role of art as the backbone of transformative ideas.<\/p>\n

For the development and production of the IR\u00cdDIA Fest we have joined Say It Loud, which, under the motto City – Culture – Community, is commited with the social economy values and has been calling for the role of art in this regard for 13 years. Say It Loud is a project of Quesoni cooperative, which works in the field of culture from event management, programming and artistic and technical services of sound, lighting and audiovisuals.[\/mu_text_block][vc_empty_space height=”80px”][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/4″][vc_single_image image=”7299″ img_size=”full”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”3\/4″][vc_tta_accordion active_section=”1″ no_fill=”true” collapsible_all=”true”][vc_tta_section title=”2025″ tab_id=”1731315561686-c9af18c6-17d5″][vc_column_text css=””]\"Ir\u00eddiaFest<\/p>\n

Third edition of the Ir\u00eddiaFest on Thursday 13 and Friday 14 at Pral-lel 62. The festival was born with the intention of promoting the culture of human rights as opposed to the culture of hate. Under the slogan \u201cLet’s make it happen\u201d, we want to create spaces of connection, community and celebration. Reflection, words, music and rhythm will be the protagonists through programs of local and international artists.<\/p>\n

Ir\u00eddiaFest bets on culture as a fundamental tool in the defense of human rights, understanding it not only as an artistic expression, but also as an engine of social and historical change. In this context, we claim the transformative role of art and its power to articulate ideas that drive change.<\/p>\n

Thursday, February 13<\/strong>, we kick off the festival with a special live edition of the podcast Ciberlocutorio, presented by Andrea Gumes and Anna Pacheco. With seven seasons behind us, this space has established itself as a benchmark in the field of culture and reflection.<\/p>\n

Friday 14<\/strong> we present four local, national and international bands. We begin by uncovering two names:<\/p>\n

Branko<\/strong>, founder of Buraka Somos Sistema and producer of artists such as M.I.A., will present his new show, recently premiered at the last edition of the S\u00f3nar festival in Lisbon.<\/p>\n

Ortiga<\/strong>, Galician artist, revisits the traditional concept of verbena and brings it to the present day, fusing festive rhythms with a renewed energy.<\/p>\n

“No soy t\u00fa gitana” by S\u00edliva Ag\u00fcero: More than an hour of humor, dance and curses. Antigitanism without pretensions of deconstructing anyone.<\/p>\n

Flamenco performance with Rafael Perona and Carmen Amador.<\/p>\n

Saturday, February 17th<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dowdelin<\/strong>: Creole Afrofuturism with roots to Guadeloupe, Martinique and Armenia.<\/p>\n

Lapili<\/strong>: Afrobeat, dancehall and attitude of an artist who has been to London, Ghana and Madrid.<\/p>\n

Tarquim<\/strong>: With a powerful wind section specially assembled for the occasion and anticipating much of the repertoire that will make up his second LP. Salsa and Afro-Cuban music from the hand of one of the most solid and elegant formations of recent times.<\/p>\n

LA BULLA PERREO<\/strong>: with JAHZZMVN & ACEITUNAS NEGRA. A party to sweat it out with reggaeton, dancehall, demBow, hip hop, Afro Beatos… With an underground and anti-commercial look for the enjoyment of all those of you who are starting to get bored of listening to the same tracks at every party.<\/p>\n
