Southern border - Irídia Southern border - Irídia

We demand respect for human rights at borders.

The borders of the Spanish State are an area of exceptional and discriminatory application of legality. During the last parliamentary term, numerous serious cases of fundamental rights violations took place: the massacre in Melilla, arrests at the Arguineguín dock, illegal returns of children and adolescents in Ceuta, etc.

Faced with the recent formation of a new government, we demand that the human rights of migrants be guaranteed. That is why, first of all, legality must be respected in full at borders, ending the areas of exceptional and discriminatory application of it.

Likewise, it is necessary to implement a paradigm shift in migratory policies under a horizon of eradicating inherent racism that entails restrictive policies that prevent access to international mobility of populations from countries with a history of colonial domination as well as the approval of the Popular Legislative Initiative for the regularization of migrants (ILP Regularización Ya).
