What do we do

In Irídia we develop an integral intervention before the violations of rights, combining the legal and psychosocial attention to the affected people from an empowering perspective. Throughout the process, we take into consideration at all times their affective circle. In those cases in which the affected person agrees, we turn the processes into strategic litigation, by which the standards of human rights protection can be raised. We also focus on working for effective equality and non-discrimination in the area of gender justice.

In addition, we carry out political and social advocacy work through communication campaigns and direct interaction with the different political and parliamentary groups, as well as with municipal governments, the Generalitat and the Spanish State. We also carry out advice on public policies through the specialized work of each area of the organization.
